Dawn Bednarchik
Dawn has always wanted to work in a veterinary facility since she was little. She has volunteered at the Gloucester Animal Shelter and the Animal Welfare Association. Dawn joined the Animal & Bird Health Care Center front desk team in 2016 and plans on going to school to become a veterinary technician. She is a mommy to 2 dogs - a beagle, Molly and a shih-tzu, Leo - and 2 guinea pigs, Remi and Greyson |

Joann Cardoso BS
Joann started her veterinary career in high school and continued working at animal hospitals while she earned her Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University. She branched out into various management, sales, and customer service jobs before finding the perfect position as the Hospital Administrator at Animal & Bird Health Care Center. In her spare time, she grows orchids, brews her own kombucha, and enjoys life with her two daughters and their cat Amber.

Maria Clark
Maria has known since a little girl that caring for animals was her passion. She started working at the Humane Society in early 2000s and can't imagine doing anything else.

Tara Emery CVT
Tara is a graduate of Becker College, located in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has been with the Animal & Bird Health Care Center since 2006 and successfully passed her certification exam as a veterinary nurse in 2010.
Tara lives in Cherry Hill with her husband, sons Alistair & Ronan, 4 cats & 2 dogs.

A graduate of Camden County College, Debbie has been in the animal health business for 30 years. Debbie is a familiar face at the front desk having joined Animal & Bird Health Care Center in 1995.

Michelle Harris BS
Michelle Harris is originally from Ocean City, Md & moved to the South Jersey area upon completion of her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Frostburg State University. Her happy family comprises of 3 ferrets, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. She loves to educate our
clients about how to care for their animals and makes sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face.

Taylor Koller CVT
Taylor was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. She graduated from Manor Junior College in August of 2016 with her Associates in Veterinary Technology. In November of that year she obtained her CVT license. She did an internship in Florida at an exotic practice during the summer of 2016, where her interest for small mammal and exotics blossomed. Taylor has a special love for cats and has two of her own, named Sully and Napoleon.

She earned a B.A in Biology from Rutgers- Camden and a M.A in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. Nicole is a full time Biology teacher at Cherokee High school. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her pets which include her two rescue dogs, Angus and Rosco, her cat Leroy and African Grey Leza.

She started off working with Wildlife at Mercer County Wildlife Center, which led her to the career as a Veterinary technician. She is currently working on finishing her bachelor's degree in Biology & has four cats, two Guinea pigs, and a Rabbit. Heather loves what she does for a living & feels that it is not a job, it is her path in life.

Damian Potere
Damian has been with the Animal & Bird Health Care Center for over 17 years. He has always enjoyed being around animals and wildlife. He heads the boarding facility and is also a veterinary assistant helping the nurses with their duties. Damian is consistently a client favorite.

Kim Roggio
Kim has been a star at our front desk since early 2018! She lives in Florence NJ with her husband Dennis, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and two parrots (all rescues!!!) In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her pets and playing bingo.
